He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Stoops and Grethal Stoops (Garrett); and his brothers, Gary Stoops and James D. O'Keefe. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Stoops (Hart); his son Archie II Stoops (Jolanta) of Waldorf, MD; his siblings, Richard Stoops of Crestline, Wayne Stoops (Fran) of Alabama and Susan Colvin (Jack) of Ashland; and his sister-in-law Veronica O'Keefe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Humane Society of Richland County.
