He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Nickels and Loretta Dodd Nickels; his wife Nancy; his children, Lorrie Oaklief, Patricia Stover (John), Kathleen Kern and Connie Cormier (Michelle Landry); his grandchildren, Brooke Martin, Kelly Kaczmarek (Ed), Sandra Stover, Kenneth Stover, Betsy Lyon (Nate), Nicholas Kern (Taran Stout), Katy Hundt (Billy), Chad Cormier (Melissa Bush) and Kyle Cormier (Connie); his great grandchildren, Travis, Colin, Lenna, Tyler, Haillee, Nicky and Winnie; his siblings, Francis (Lucille), Virginia and Howard Nickels; his sister-in-law Margaret Nickels; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Owen, Molly, Vinnie, Liz Simon (Todd), Grace, Wyatt, Jesse and Mae.
