She was predeceased by: her parents, Zewditu Dejene and Asfaw Wodajo; her husband Tesfayesus Asrat; and her brother Yemane Asfaw. She is survived by: her daughter Tigist Tesfayesus; her son-in-law Robert Amoah; her son Wondimeneh Tesfayesus; her daughter-in-law Awet Osman; her son Asrat Tesfayesus; her daughter-in-law Tihitina Zenebe Gebre; her daughter Blen Tesfayesus; her son-in-law Benyam Negusie; her grandchildren, Yohanna, Mattea, Natnael, Heldana, Markkon, Orion, Maya and Zeima; and her siblings, Wossen Asfaw, Dawit Asfaw and Elizabeth Asfaw.
