Herbert Boenig Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Boenig of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, born in Versailles, Connecticut, who passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Boenig, Jr. Fred Boenig (Charlotte), Everett Boenig, Margaret Roethel (Conrad), Alma Blankenfeld (Otto), Dolores LaChappelle (Clovis) and Lucy Theroux (Joseph).
He is survived by: his wife Yolanda; his daughters, Darlene Zakrajsek (Kenneth) and Bonnie Boenig (Jeff Dombek); and his grandchildren, Brian Zakrajsek, Jennifer Zakrajsek, Jessica Zakrajsek and Abbey Boenig-Dombek.
He was honored by the Occum Volunteer Fire Department for his kindness and generosity in donations to special events and supporting the firefighters with food and beverages while they were out on calls fighting fires.
