She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Herrwegen and Katharina Herrwegen (Mueck). She is survived by: her husband Berti Witt; and her children, Anita and Berti. She is also survived by three sisters-in-laws; three brother-in-laws; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
