Dan W. Damroze Obituary
Dan. W. Damroze, age 55, of Olmsted Falls, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at his home unexpectedly, while fighting cancer.
He was born in Saline, Michigan and had been a resident of Olmsted Falls for the past 35 years, moving from Dexter, Michigan.
He served in the US Army and worked as a heavy equipment operator for JMC Construction Company for the past 20 years.
He was a member of the Operators Engineers Local 18 and the American Motorcycle Association.
Dan enjoyed motor cross racing, hunting, fishing and socializing with friends and family.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Edna (nee Eck); sons, Daniel Lee Freeman of Canada, Mike (Kelsey) Damroze of Sunbury, Andy Damroze (Jenna Houser) of North Olmsted, Donnie Damroze of Olmsted Falls; grandchildren, Haley, Wesley, Lucas and one on the way; brothers, David (Arita) Damroze of Kansas City, Missouri, Delbert (Chris) Kempf of Chelsea, Michigan, Dewey Kempf of Dexter, Michigan, Mark Pitson of Dexter, Michigan and his mother, Carol Robb of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Douglas and father, Emils Arturs Damroze.
Friends may call Saturday from 3-6 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
