He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert and Marie; and his parents, Andrew Adkins and Laura Adkins (Irick). He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Brenda Young (Jeffery) and Andrew Adkins III (Tammy); his grandchildren, Ashley Adkins, Kyle Young, Amanda Young, Andrew R. Adkins, Samantha Adkins and Jadyn Young; his great grandchild Connor; his sisters, Frances, Thelma and Wilma; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce, Steven, Donald, Richard Greene and Brenda Belligo (Albert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
