He was predeceased by: his father Albert Schroeder; his granddaughter Gabrielle Schroeder; and his siblings, Herman Schroeder (Tillie), Albert Schroeder (Laura), Clara Bostelman (Melvin), Viola Helberg (Gus), Amelia Bleeks (Melvin) and Florence Schroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet Schroeder (Arps); his children, John Schroeder (Lynette), Marc Schroeder, Susan Mavis (Todd), Julie Lawton (Michael) and Matthew Schroeder (Shawna); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua, Katelyn Schroeder, Samantha, Amanda, Makenna Schroeder, Monica Manto (Philip), Lydia and Zakary Schroeder; his great grandchild Camille "Millie" Manto; and his sister Mary Ann Rosebrock (Arnold).
