She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Gerken and Ida Gerken (Meienburg); and her brothers, Wilhelm Gerken and Victor Gerken. She is survived by: her spouse Eugene D. Bernath; her children, Daniel (Diane) of Archbold, David (Judy) of Indianapolis, Jan Bernath (Linda) of Archbold, James Tourney (Deb) of Wauseon and Julie Tourney (Joe) of Dallas Lake; her sister Anna Marie Behnfeldt (Norm); and her sisters-in-law, Emilie Gerken and Beverly Wanemacher. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
