He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. McConnell Jr. and June Redding McConnell; his siblings, Kae Crenshaw and Robert "Bob" McConnell; and his siblings-in-law, John Browning, Vernon O'Dell and Vickie McConnell.
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Cothern Kuetemeyer; his wife Nancy E. McConnell (Cothern); his children, William "Mack" IV McConnell (Candace Sharp), Margaret "Meg" McConnell, David McConnell, Robin McConnell, Klint Kuetemeyer, Josh Kuetemeyer (Elizabeth) and Jackie Sulfridge (Brad); his grandchildren, Hannah, Bryndan, Lily, Quinn McConnell, Nicholas Evans, Brooke Mueller (Brett), Kaitlyn Doyle (Blake), Olivia, Anna, Gabby, Max Kuetemeyer, Hope, Will and Vivian Sulfridge; his great grandchildren, Karsyn Evans, Bentley and Amelia Doyle; his sisters, Linda O'Dell and Elizabeth "Liz" Sherfy Browning; and his siblings-in-law, Daniel (Carolyn), Larry Cothern and Patricia "Trish" Gregory (Duane). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and brothers & sisters.
