He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie E. Rolando (Tidwell) and Purvy Lucas; his siblings, Junior Lucas and Marnie Gayle Milewski; his stepfather Otis McAllister; and his parents-in-law, Bige and Annie Hensley.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Lucas; his children, William James "Bill" Lucas and Sheri Jones; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Caitlyn, Hannah, Heather and Haylee; his great grandchildren, Liam, Riley and Quinn; and his sister Cassandra Lucas.
