He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clinton and Helen Pauline Moorhead; and his pet Ginger. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Moorhead; his children, Jennifer Tussey (Ryan), Sonia Lightfield (Clayton), Jane Zaenkert and John Moorhead II (Maria); his grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel, Shelby Tussey, Jesse, Kayla Lightfield, Trevor, Olivia, Michael, David Zaenkert, Leah and John "Johnny" Moorhead III; and his sister Doris Lincks. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions that would be the most meaningful to John could be made to either Reily Township Fire and EMS Department, American Cancer Society for bone cancer research or to the Paralyzed Veterans.
