He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Anthony and Ruby Luella Elsaesser (Long); his wife Sammie Abner; his daughter Peggy Ann Allen (Donald Allen); and his sisters, Roberta Ruby Elsaesser, Alberta Ruth Chitwood, Betty Jean Malone, Mary Ann Schimpf, Joan Catherine Hofmann, Dorothy Louise Atkins, Norma Lee Buckley, Helen Ruby Tripp and Jenny Linda Tow.
He is survived by: his daughter Tina Sue Abner-Marcum (Phillip); his grandchildren, Terri Lynn Roemer (Richard) and Patrick Marcum (Kate Bartolovich); his great grandchild Autumn Roemer; his sister Carol Mae Cooper; his caregiver Lori Hinman; and his pets, Sebastian and Gilligan. He is also survived by other loving relatives, friends and neighbors.
