He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl and Leona Minnie Moody (Kroghman); his former wife Nancy Bea "Nan" Moody; his fiancé Shirley Ann Edwards; and his brother Harold Moody.

He is survived by: his sibling D'Meria Jean Stover; his children, Timothy Dean Moody (Marcia) of Ohio City, Julie Bea Strous (Tracy) of Kenton and Gwyn Ann Moody (Poccosa McKinney) of Dayton; his grandchildren, Anson Moody (Laura), Brendon Moody (Kylee), Kendra Bea Dilts (Tom) and Miranda Ann Strous (Randy Crum); his great grandchildren, Ryan Moody (Kayla Schroeder), Landon Moody, Myles Moody, Brynleigh Moody, Colton Moody, Nancy Jo Crum-Strous, Ben Dilts, Issac Orgelia, Robert Dilts and Lincoln Dilts; his partner's children, Sonna J. Seibert (Raymond) of Van Wert and Steven Edwards (Shelly) of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Kisha Blue (Chris) and Coy Seibert; and his great grandchildren, Jayci and Zaide Blue.

Due to pandemic considerations, there will be private services for the family. Saturday afternoon.
