He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Herbert and Blanche Elizabeth Bennett (Shaffer); his wife Dorothy J. Mottinger; and his siblings, Lloyd Bennett, Keith Bennett, Theo Bennett, Lois Fox, Donna Trisel and Mary Snyder.
He is survived by: his son Greg A. Bennett (Susan) of Ohio City; his grandchildren, Chad Bennett (Jackie) of Convoy and Marie Bennett of Ohio City; and his great grandchildren, Emberlee, Makayla, Alec, Natalie and Adam. He is also survived by eleven great great grandchildren.
