She is survived by: her husband Norbert Merkle of Ohio City, Ohio; her sons, Dale Merkle (Lisa) of Middle Point, Larry Merkle of Middletown and David Merkle (Lisa) of Ohio City, Ohio; her sisters, Dorothy Schapper (Ray) of Woodburn and Lavera Linker (Denny) of New Haven, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Lora Dirmeyer (Rick), Ashley McDougall (Josh), Ashton Colpetzer (Hannah), Steven Merkle (Cassandra Kline) and Zacheriah Merkle (Shelby). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
