Murphy of Ohio City, Ohio, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Murphy and Bertha Catherine Murphy (Oswalt); his sons, Brian and Vincent Murphy; and his siblings, Edward, Alan Murphy and Marilyn Funk.
He is survived by: his wife Ina Jean Murphy (Hanes) of Ohio City; his children, Allan Murphy of Van Wert, John Murphy (Chelsea) of Van Wert, Monroe Murphy (Vicki) of Ohio City, Scott Murphy of Van Wert, Josh Murphy of Decatur and Katina Murphy of Van Wert; and his siblings, Harry Murphy, James Murphy, Evelyn Villone and Patricia Warner. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to St. Jude's Children Hospital or the Murphy family for funeral expenses.
