He was predeceased by: his parents, Max W. Bennett and Dorothy J. Bennett (Mottinger); and his brother-in-law Jim Carr. He is survived by: his children, Chad Bennett (Jackie) of Convoy and Marie Bennett of Ohio City; his grandchildren, Emberlee, Makayla, Adam, Natalie and Alec; his close friend Hank; and his siblings-in-law, Stan Courtney, Stuart Courtney (Jacque), Sharon Schaadt (Doug), Sheryl Carr and Sid Taylor (Kelly).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cowan & Son Funeral Home (616 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Preferred memorials are to the Ohio City Fire & EMS Department.
