He is survived by: his children, Chad Bennett (Jackie) of Convoy and Marie Bennett of Ohio City; his grandchildren, Emberlee, Makayla, Adam, Natalie and Alec; his close friend Hank; and his siblings-in-law, Stan Courtney, Stuart Courtney (Jacque), Sharon Schaadt (Doug), Sheryl Carr and Sid Taylor (Kelly).

Preferred memorials are to the Ohio City Fire & EMS Department.
