He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland Harris and Hazel V. Harris-Simmons (Hoffman); his stepson Raymond "Buddy" Campbell; and his siblings, Arthur Eugene Harris, Roger Lee Harris, Robert L. Harris, Myrtle Grace Harris Taylor, Linda Harris-Newell-Eschmann and Glenna Harris-Elliot.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Harris of Ohio City; his children, Donald Lee Harris Jr. (Tammy) of New Lexington, OH and Jessica Dawn Harris (Amy) of Zanesville; his stepchildren, Lisa Shaffer (Rick) of Ohio City, Lori Moore of Ohio City and John E. Lowry Jr. of Ohio City; and his siblings, Ronald D. Harris of Zanesville and Nora Harris-Jensen. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home Chapel (722 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
