She was predeceased by: her parents, George Scarpelli and Bernice E. Scarpelli (DeWitt); her former husband James William Van Gundy; her husband William Elmer "Bill" Army; her son James Bartley Van Gundy; and her sisters, Jacqueline Barnhart and Shirley Ann Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Rosenbeck (Donald) of Jackson Center, OH, Teresa Dunlap of Ohio City and Russell Van Gundy of Ohio City; her grandchildren, Roger Dale Dunlap, Amy Elaine Wooten, Larry James Dunlap (Charity) and La Tina Kaye Elston (Dustin); and her sister Peggy Jo Scarpelli of Paulding. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, six step-children.
Preferred memorials are to Disabled American Veterans of Van Wert.
