She is survived by: her husband Brian D. Short; her stepson Anthony Thomas Short; her brother Alex R. Miller Jr.; and her mother-in-law Judith Short.
No services will be held, and donations are encouraged to be made payable to American Diabetes Association or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
