He was predeceased by: his parents, Freland Gussler and Ugie Gussler (Wellman); his siblings, Milton, Richard (Alma), Don, Vicky, Loraine, Ruth Carter (Cliston) and Mary Salyer (Cornell); and his granddaughter Brittany Duncan (Michael).
He is survived by: his wife Patty Gussler (Thompson); his sons, Phillip Gussler (Bonnie) and Mike Gussler (Tammy); and his grandchildren, P. J. Gussler (Christina), Crystal Green (Greg), Tonya Gussler and Chrisrina Speakma. He is also survived by 13 great-granchildren, four great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
