With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Moroney (Obetz, Ohio), born in Ironton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2025 at the age of 96. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Phyllis may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Faulkner and Audra Faulkner; her husband John Moroney; and her siblings, Fred, Elsie, Verna and Janet.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Browning (Ginny) and Regina Ramey (Mel). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Obetz Cemetery (4455 Groveport Rd, Obetz, OH 43207).
