He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Babcock and Leora Babcock Sr. (Hershberger). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Jean Babcock (Arnold); his children, Steven Babcock, John Babcock, George C. Babcock III and Loralee Corbin; his sisters, Georgia Cobbs, Neva Jarvis and Leora Gae Moore; his children, Wayne Kirk (Angela), Chuck Kirk (Tamara), Joyce Kirk, Monica Cline and Lance Babcock; his grandchildren, John, Josh, Deric, Michael, Maria, Dwayne, Misty, Chris, Jeana, Austin, Dylan, Chyanna, Billie, Brayden and Gavin; his niece Becky; and his nephew Foster Jarvis. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
