He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley Ann Chambers (Howard) of Oberlin and Hattie Adams of Indiana; and his brothers-in-law, James Johnson, Dwayne Hubbard of Elyria and Lloyd Walden of Texas. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
