He was predeceased by: his parents, Harbert Barbee and Mary Odell Barbee; and his brother Lewis Barbee. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Charles Barbee (Denise) of Columbia, SC, Donald Barbee of Elyria, OH, Gail Whalen (Timothy), Gloria Motley (Phillipie) of Columbus, OH, Christopher Barbee (Cheryl) of Durham, NC and Quinn Barbee (Elizabeth) of Elyria, OH.; and his siblings, James C Barbee, Edward Barbee (Darlene), Larry Barbee (Charlene) of Oberlin, OH, Harvey Barbee (Jane), Mary Horton, Barbara Harris (Fred) of Rockford, IL, Gladys Barbee and Bernice Williams. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
