He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jr. and Edna Squires Jr.; his wife Iren Squires; his son Ted Squires; his great grandchild Tyler Squires; and his sister Gertrude Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Squires (Mary) of Oberlin and Janice Bornstein (Ken) of Columbia. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
