Matthew Mayo Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2018, at the age of 71, Matthew Mayo (Oberlin, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ross Mayo of Feyetteville, N. C., James Mayo of Elyria, Minnie Bingham of Fort Washington and Pandora Lockwood of San Diego; his parents, Lawson Mayo and Ola Mayo; and his son Matthew Mayo.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley V. Mayo of Oberlin; and his children, Michael Mayo of Washington, Marcus Mayo of Oberlin and Marjean Mayo Baker of Oberlin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Logos Christian Fellowship Church.
