She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Jackson and Annie Lee Jackson; her husband Metter Evans, 3rd (Coleman Edwards); and her son George Jackson. She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Sharisse Edwards and Tara Edwards; and her brothers, Roy Jackson and Herman Jackson. She is also survived by son Floyd President, 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
