He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie Caver; his parents, Famous Caver and Corlida Shepherd; his children, Cynthia Johnson and Robert Brown; and his granddaughter Corin Jones.
He is survived by: his sons, David Caver (Deseree) of Elyria, OH and Lawrence Brown of Elyria, OH; and his siblings, Jesse Caver of Cleveland, OH, Raymond Caver of Cleveland, OH, Famous Caver of Cleveland, OH, Larry Caver of Cleveland, OH, Grace Jackson of Cleveland, OH and Regina Bowen of Cleveland, OH. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
