He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Holliman and Lilly Holliman; and his son James A. Holliman Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Allene Holliman; and his sons, Eric Holliman (Phyllis) and Christopher Holliman (Barbara). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank.
