She was predeceased by: her parents, Navy Jones and Sally Jones; and her son Mark L. Valentine. She is survived by: her husband Clyde M. Valentine Sr. of Oberlin; her children, Bonnie Valentine-Byrd (Edward) of Oberlin, Clyde Valentine Jr. (Corrin) of Tampa, David Valentine of Miami and Jay Valentine of Brunswick; and her brother Douglas Jones of Chillicothe, Ohio.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren 3 step grandchildren, host of nieces nephews and cousins.
