It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Yakunovich (Oberlin, Ohio), born in Kipton, Ohio, who passed away on December 8, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Yakunovich and Mary Yakunovich; and his siblings, Steve, Joe Yakunovich and Helen Harr.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Yakunovich of Oberlin; his daughters, Marlene Yakunovich (Scott Allgauer) of Wakeman, Joanie Zimmer (David) of Broadview Heights and Carrie Masters (Robert Battle) of Falcon; his grandchildren, Emma, Jonathan, Mikaela and Sabastian; and his siblings, Irene Tokas, Bill and John Yakunovich.
