He was predeceased by: his parents, Burt Gibson and Leota Gibson (Goodrich); his wife Melba Gibson (Mason); his brother Harold; his sister-in-law Marty Gibson; his sister Helen; his brother-in-law Jack Tykal; and his son David Gibson.
He is survived by: his grandson Allyn; his sons, Rick (Nancy) and Don (Kathy); his daughter-in-law Lorna; and his grandchildren, Ryan (Katie), Stephanie (Luke), Leah (Mike), Krista, Steven, Katie (Greg), Don (Emily) and Annie (Buck). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
