In loving memory of William Leonard Calvert of Oakwood, Ohio, who departed this world on December 18, 2024 at the age of 81. William Leonard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Calvert and Mary Ruth Calvert (Raabe); his son Jevin Calvert; his daughter-in-law Melissa Calvert; his granddaughter Bethany Calvert; and his in-laws, Homer and Grace Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Anne Bennett; his sons, Jed Calvert (Melissa) of Oakwood and Jared Calvert (Christina) of Erlanger, Kentucky; his daughter-in-law Jenn Heimberger (Jeff) of Hilliard; his brother Robert Calvert (Lynda) of Sacramento, California; and his grandchildren, Ellie, Samuel, Wesley Calvert, Tessa, Alis and Erin Heimberger. He is also survived by nephew and two nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heitmeyer Funeral Home - Oakwood (610 Walnut St, Oakwood, OH 45873). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and other remembrances, memorial donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Oakwood EMS or the Oakwood Library Association.
