Shirley Sharp Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Sharp of Oakwood, Ohio, born in Angola, Indiana, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Powell and Otto King; her sister Beverly; her brother-in-law Robert Sanderson; her grandson Jeremy Sharp; and her great grandchild Jonathan Sharp-Blancarte.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Sharp (Marcia), Shelly Sharp, Sherry Schilt (Bud) and Jeffrey Sharp (Jason Ponder); her grandchildren, Bryan Sharp (Cynthia), Holly Schilt, Justus Sharp (Mindy), Heath Schilt (Jill), Alexis Acosta (Camilo), Tyson Schilt and Charity Woodard (Michael); her great grandchildren, Austin, Elizabeth, Isabella, Audrey, Sebastian, Kaden, Ella, Kristen, Maddox, Aden, Crew and Norris; her great great grandchildren, Solandis, Lincoln and Ocean; and her siblings, Van Powell (Theresa), Linda Mautz (Jon Dee), Barbara Michaels (Barry) and Paul King. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oakwood Community Church (201 E Harmon St, Oakwood, OH 45873). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oakwood Community Church, Cooper Community Library, or CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.
