He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard H. Kohorst and Florence Kohorst (Baer); his granddaughter Hillary Dirr; his great grandchild Kyndall Wagner; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Kohorst, Tom Carder and Tim Mericle.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Schilt; his children, Richard G. Kohorst of Oakwood, Arlene Dirr of Oakwood and Darlene Vorlicky (Ron) of Oakwood; and his siblings, Delmer Kohorst of Florida, Carl Kohorst (Dorothy) of Florida, Daryl Kohorst of Delphos, Edith Carder of Delphos, Judy Hammons (Jim) of Delphos and Becky Mericle of Delphos. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
