He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Steed and Eunice Vesta Mullins (Brickles); his half-sisters, Evelyn Mullins and Essie Mae Mullins; his stepfather Leeleon Jack Messer; his siblings, Audrey Lambert (Mullins) and Robert G. Messer; his brother-in-law Ira "Coon" Lambert; his stepsister Anna Jean Gustovich (Messer); his grandparents, Emory, Stella Mullins (Abbott), Joseph and Eliza Brickles (Logan); and his parents-in-law, Elbert Kirk and Ethel Kirk (Mullins).
He is survived by: his former spouse Cloie Helen Kirk; his children, Dennis Ray Mullins (Barbara Arvoy) of Beaverton, MI, Danny Mullins (Paula) of Van Wert, OH and Theresa Shelton (Enoch) of Van Wert, OH; his grandchildren, Dennis R. Mullins, Jr., Tasha White (Mullins), Amber Subler (Mullins), Jason Mullins and Kacy Shelton; and his siblings, Charles K. Mullins (Mary) of Ranger, WV, Lee Messer (Sherry) of Cecil, OH, Donald Messer (Debra) of Holgate, OH, Lonnie Messer of Latty, OH, Brenda Shelton (Isaac) of Defiance, OH and Mary Adkins (Danny) of Maumee, OH. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; one great- great grandchild.
