He was predeceased by: his parents, James Anthony and Hazel Keafauver Scholl; his brother Jerry; and his sister-in-law Nina. He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his children, Diane Crouch (late Larry) and James Scholl (Jolene); his stepchildren, Cindy Scarff (late Peter) and Quinn Speck (Vicki); his grandchildren, Charles Crouch (Hallie), Kent Scholl, Nelson Scarff (Megan), Henry Scarff, Katlyn Scholl and Anna Scarff Dutton (Thomas); and his great grandchildren, Cooper and Emma Scarff.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Miami Valley Hospital Foundation, 31 Wyoming St., Dayton, Ohio 45409, or a charity of choice.
