Katherine Cavin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Cavin of Oakwood, Ohio, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brock and Elizabeth Brock (Caldwell); her husband William Cavin; her son-in-law Daniel Carlisle; and her siblings, Mary Bullins, Laura Bingham, Helen Hunter, Bertha Hunter, Rachael Brock, Dora Brock, Millard Brock, Ralph Brock, Will Brock, Bruce Brock and Robert Brock.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Kay Bloomfield (Patrick) of Coldwater, MI, William D. Cavin (Diane) of Paulding, Helen M. Carlisle of Oakwood and Sharon Glick (Terry) of Findlay; and her siblings, Cuba Phipps, Gladys Jackson, Irene Brock, Grover Brock, Reed Brock (Ricky) and Colsin Brock (Ruth). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Heitmeyer Funeral Home - Oakwood (610 Walnut St, Oakwood, OH 45873). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice.
