She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph W. Barnes and Betty L. Barnes (Davis); and her siblings, Carol Harrington and Chuck Barnes. She is survived by: her husband Jeffery A. McCarty; her children, Heather Johnson of Antwerp, Lori Ridgway of Bryan, Ohio and Tim McCarty (April) of Defiance; her grandchildren, Trevor, Nathaniel, Jack Ridgway, Lydia, Andrew Johnson and Dryden White; and her siblings, Marilyn Sanders (Larry) of Bryan and Tom Barnes (Pam) of Bryan.

Due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, the family will receive friends while observing social distancing precautions.
