He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Shelton and Letha Shelton; his grandparents, Victor, Sarah Shelton, Ira and Viola Lambert; his granddaughter Lillian Rose Shelton; his siblings, Clifford, Lester, Victor, Weldon, Goza, Oder, Herbert Jr., Larry, Dorothy, Beatrice, Ruth, Claudia, Marcella, Melissa and Brenda; and his parents-in-law, Barney and Eula Mae Gribble.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Shelton; his children, Jeanette Shelton of Defiance, OH, Gregory Shelton (Kerry) of Groverhill, OH and Jessie Shelton (Ashley) of Groverhill, OH; his sister Lorraine Nelson (Ron) of Ranger, WV; his grandchildren, Bridgette Niese (Jacob), Korene Shelton, Wyatt Shelton (Allie), Joshua Shelton, Jaxson Shelton, Gracelynn Shelton and Bradi Ellerbrock (Noah); and his great grandchildren, Ryan and Jamison Niese. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
