He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Askins and Rosine Askins; his wife Carol Budde; his daughters, Amy Askins (Chris Schairbaum) and Jenni Askins Kershaw (Jim Kershaw); and his grandchildren, Jake, Joey, Cooper Schairbaum, Evan and Julia Kershaw.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home (2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton, OH 45429). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
