With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale L. Wright of Oakwood, Ohio, born in Hoytville, Ohio, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn "Bus" Wright and Ruth Wright (Weaver); and his son Rick Wright. He is survived by: his wife Carol Lynn Funk; his children, Sherri Wright-Closson, John Wright and Darren Blockberger; his siblings, Daniel Wright (Nancy) of Georgia and Geraldine Strobel of Napoleon; and his grandchildren, Zachary Brown, Alexis Ann Wright, Danielle Blair, Jeff Jr. Closson, Mica Closson, Kirsten Blockberger and Evan Blockberger. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Bethel Christian Church, Arthur.
