With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cleis W. MacKenzie of Oakwood, Ohio, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on November 24, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William O. Warford and Frances Warford; and her former husband Daniel G. Evans. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth S. MacKenzie; her children, Gregory G. Evans (Priscilla), Stephen Evans (Jane) and Frances Evans Hoak (Jon); her grandchildren, Geoffrey G. Evans, Grant M. Evans, Bradley K. Evans, Jonathan B. Evans, Michelle E. Shappee and Todd Thurgaland; and her caregivers, Julie Lucente and Pandora Kilgore. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.
