She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Schilt and Margaret Schilt (Smith); and her sisters, Sharon Merritte, Sandy Mowery and Betty Clark.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Adkins; her sons, Kent Richard Adkins (Lisa) of Oakwood, Keith Duane Adkins (Jeanne Eberly) of Oakwood and Charles Scott "Bud" Adkins (Deanna) of Oakwood; and her siblings, Butch Schilt (Mary) of Defiance, Sonny Miller (Gerri) of Defiance, Sue Kohorst (Richard) of Oakwood and Linda Shelton of Ottawa. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
