He is survived by: his grandchildren, D. J. and Guatemala; his children, Robin Lynne Bennie-Gullatte (Dwayne) and Robert Kye Bennie, III; his grandchildren, Amiel Carter, Kalif Aughburns, Dwayne Gullatte Jr., Isaiah Bennie and Rheigna Gullatte; his great grandchild Azrael Aughburns; his sisters, Carolyn Mann, Peggy Fisher and Linda Webber; his brother-in-law Joe Carmichael of Cincinnati, Ohio; his brothers, Phillip Bennie (Barbara) of Santa Maria, Sylvester Bullocks (Hollie), Bernard Bullocks (Zoepta) and Fred Bullocks (Pauline) of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his nephew Theodore McConnell of Cincinnati. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
He was a proud member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation Million Dollar Club.
