He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances; his children, David (Mary), Michael (Erika) and Ruth Eleanor; his grandchildren, Michael (Claire), Marianne Beichner (Justin), Kimberly Riles (Holbrook) and David Pickett; and his great grandchildren, Jacob and Brady.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Alzheimers Association, 23215 Commerce Park, Suite #300, Beachwood, OH 44122, in memory of John.
