He was predeceased by: his father Grady Pope, Sr.; his brother Robert Bobby Pope; and his son Jermaine Ray. He is survived by: his mother Mary Pope; his siblings, Johnny Pope, Edward Pope, Cary Pope, Rebecca Pope and Cathy Pope; his daughters, Labonnie Rodgers (Otis), Lashelle Lee (Goins), Lasondra Doyle and Keianna Pope; and his granddaughter Mae.
