She was predeceased by: her father Matthew Adkins; her husband Delmar Ray Rakes; her siblings, Lovejoy, Frank Miller, Wade Adkins, Gordon Adkins, Corbin Adkins, Lowell Thomas Adkins, Reed Adkins, Albert Collins and Anna Crabtree; her son-in-law Richard "Rick" Richmond; her grandson Thomas Anthony Rakes; and her great grandchild Levi Ray Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Forshey (John), Deborah Hall (Michael), Timothy Rakes (Karla), Polly Hurd (David Clyde), John Rakes (Denise), June McNeely (Chuck) and Rushie Richmond. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and her fur baby.
